Della joined Nemours Children's Health in 2016 as a nurse in Neurology as well as a discharge nurse coordinator with the Hospital Pediatric Medicine group at Wolfson Children's Hospital. She recently transitioned from the Wolfson Children's hospital side to work in the pediatric Urology clinic while also joining the Patient Experience Team as a Nurse Clinician Liaison. While Della has enjoyed several different roles throughout her nursing career, she also worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism prior to starting her nursing career. Her experience working with the autism population provided valuable insight into the lives of families of children with special needs. Through her efforts as a behavior therapist and pediatric nurse, Della recognized the significance of high-quality care coordination for children with special needs and aspired to enhance the overall care experience for this patient population. Della is currently pursuing her master's in nursing informatics with the goal of transforming care for all children throughout the enterprise. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family which includes her husband, her twins: Penny & Ruby and her youngest Harrison.
