My name is Lauren Day, I am the nurse practitioner for the pediatric electrophysiology program here at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida. I have been in practice as a nurse practitioner for 3 years now working in adult electrophysiology for my first year before I transitioned to pediatric electrophysiology. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked in various settings in the 9 years prior including cardiology, heart and lung transplant and the emergency room before I landed in the electrophysiology lab.  Learning the intricate process that is required to care for patients with rhythm disorders led me to pursue a post graduate career in electrophysiology. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors working our land, running, and spending time with my family.
