Sean Elwell is the Senior Director of Emergency Services, Critical Care Transport, and the Pediatric Trauma Center at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.  Sean has been employed with the organization for over 20 years, starting as an EMT, prior to becoming a registered nurse.  In 2009, he was selected as employee of the year for the hospital.  Sean is a graduate of Drexel University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a master’s degree in nursing leadership and health systems management.  Sean has written numerous articles for publication and presented at many conferences both regionally and nationally.  Sean is actively involved in several professional organizations nationally, including the Society of Trauma Nurses, where Sean is a Past-President.   He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing.
