April 2020 to present: Surgical Quality Program Manager Delaware Valley, Nemours Children’s Health System. Critical evaluation of population health equity, risk and quality data across perioperative service lines spanning four states. Oversight of regulatory accreditation, surgical quality, performance improvement initiatives, strategic vision alignment, key performance indicators, and policies/procedures to maximize growth, profitability, error prevention, and superior patient and family experience.

Collaborated with pharmacy, legal and quality to ensure operations met regulatory guidelines. Clinical and fiscal oversight including performance analytics, budget, continuous improvement, creation and maintenance of policies, electronic order sets and clinical pathways as part of ED Value Stream/Lean, lead successful Lantern, Emergency Medical Services for Children and Magnet accreditation.

Strategic responsibility for advancing nursing practice and patient safety of 35-member team. System level assessments using six sigma principles to identify variables influencing nursing and medical imaging clinical excellence and outcomes, promoting patient safety, culturally competent care, fiscal improvement. Medical Staff Member with oversight of outpatient infusions, sedation, procedures such as percutaneous drains, arthrograms, diagnostic and interventional CT, VCUG, nuclear studies and MRI.

June 1993 to August 2004: Nurse Supervisor, Home Care Division Bayada Nurses, Delaware. Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Oversight, engagement, and leadership of 200 registered nurses that transitioned and cared for critically ill adults, infants and children that were technology dependent in the home environment requiring mechanical ventilation with airway adjuncts or palliative care.
