Mahim Jain MD PhD is the Director of the Division of Orthogenetics at Nemours Children's Hospital DE. He has a long history in examining genetic and phenotypic relationships for individuals with skeletal disorders. His main focus has been on the development of translational studies and models to characterize and optimize treatment in individuals with OI, including the development of bone/vasculature models of OI. He is a statistical geneticist and has previously collected a biorepository for genetic data in individuals with bone and joint disorders. He develops algorithms for prioritizing disease causing variants and have been involved in leadership roles with the Undiagnosed Diseases Network and Clinical Genetics Section of NHGRI.
