Dr. Erica Sood is a pediatric psychologist in the Nemours Cardiac Center at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Her research focuses on the experiences and needs of families of children with CHD and the role of family-based psychosocial intervention.  She directs the Nemours Cardiac Learning and Early Development Program, a neurodevelopmental follow-up program for children with CHD. She is a past co-chair of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative and serves on the Editorial Boards for the Journal of Pediatric Psychology and Clinical Practice in Pediatric Psychology.
