Dr. Alora Rando (they/them) is a licensed Pediatric Psychologist at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE, where they are the clinical director of the Gender Wellness Program and member of the Child Clinical and Community Psychology Team. Clinically, their interests center on psychological, family-level, and contextual transdiagnostic mechanisms that drive and maintain concerns related to mood, anxiety, and emotion regulation concerns. They are also passionate about providing gender-affirming care to transgender and gender-expansive youth and their families. Their research focuses on the impact of psychosocial and systems-level factors on healthcare access and health outcomes for underserved pediatric populations.
