My special areas of interest are outcomes of acute critical bronchiolitis, and prediction of hemodynamics based on gas exchange. My previous work have included study of secondary bacterial infection in intubated children with acute bronchiolitis. As there are new Consensus statement published on obtaining bacteriological sample in such children, I feel it was an important topic for me to review for this Clinical evidence and Guidelines conference.
