Dr. Spurrier is Division Chief, Cardiac Anesthesiology at Nemours Children's Hosptial, Delaware. She is dual trained in Pediatrics and Anesthesiology and completed fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Critical Care. She is board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at the Sydny Kimmel Medical School, Thomas Jefferson University. She holds a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety. She has 25 years of experience providing anesthesia and critical care to patients with pediatric or congenital heart disease.
