Undergraduate from The Aga Khan University Karachi, Pakistan. Pediatric residency from Riley hospital for Children, IUPUI, US followed by fellowship in general pediatric cardiology, advanced imaging and interventional cardiology from Boston Children, Harvard Medical School. His research interests are CHD care delivery in low resource settings, quality improvement specifically creating congenital cardiac cath database for low to middle income countries, use of artificial intelligence for task sharing, pulmonary hypertension in low resource setting and thalassemia cardiomyopathy. He is currently Chair and Professor, Division of Cardiothoracic Sciences, Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), Karachi, Pakistan.
