Dr. Wassef is a fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeon at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. She 
joins Nemours following her pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Colorado, 
where she trained under nationally recognized leaders in the field. Dr. Wassef completed her 
neurosurgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she also served as chief 
resident. Her training included a research fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, 
focusing on quality of life in brain tumor patients.
