Nandini Jhawar
Dr. Nandini Jhawar graduated with her clinical psychology degree from Syracuse University in 2025, where she was a member of the ADHD Lifespan Treatment, Education, and Research Lab. Dr. Jhawar built her line of research in examining how Asian American populations engage with ADHD treatment and the impact of cultural and historical stressors on treatment access. Currently, she is a post-doctoral fellow at Nemours Children's Health (Delaware), specializing in clinical child and adolescent psychology. Her primary clinical role is in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents presenting with internalizing concerns and emotion dysregulation. During this fellowship year, Dr. Jhawar is also continuing her research in treatment engagement among Asian Americans and is specifically examining behavioral health referral follow through rates among Asian American patients at Nemours. Across both research and clinical practice, Dr. Jhawar is focused on meeting the mental health treatment needs of and reducing treatment disparities among Asian American youth.
