Course Description:
This one-hour course explores the growing trend of e-bike-related injuries among pediatric patients and its implications for trauma care. Participants will review current data on injury patterns, mechanisms, and severity associated with e-bike accidents. The session will highlight best practices for initial assessment, stabilization, and management of common injuries, as well as strategies for prevention and community education. Emphasis will be placed on understanding unique risk factors and adapting trauma protocols to address this emerging challenge.
