Objectives:

DMU nurses will be able to list the assessment steps for a patient in recovery following a procedure with sedation or anesthesia

DMU nurses will be able to determine what physical attributes are more at risk for compromised airway concerns

DMU nurses will return demonstrate  proper techniques needed to maintain a patent airway
