Learning Objectives include:

 

Participants who attend this session will be able to:

 

1.    Describe the scope and role of behavioral pediatric services and how they differ from traditional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) applied for autism treatment.

 

2.    Identify diagnoses and behavioral concerns for which referrals for behavioral pediatric intervention may be warranted, including toileting delays, sleep problems, ADHD, aggression, school-based challenges, and developmental concerns.

 

3.    Explain how function-based, caregiver- and educator-implemented strategies address real-world barriers to treatment such as time, access, cost, and generalization across settings.
