Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recall the diagnostic and management complexities associated with fever in children who have recently traveled.
- Describe an emergency room/urgent care assessment of the returned febrile child or adolescent traveler.
- Discuss the importance of travel history in the assessment of a febrile and ill-appearing child or adolescent.
Practice Change
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Incorporate travel history into the assessment of ill children.
