Objectives
- Discuss the impact a right atrial mass can have on cardiac physiology.
- Describe the management of the right atrial mass.
- Apply a diagnostic approach to a patient with a cardiac mass.
- Identify treatment approaches for a cardiac mass.
- Acknowledge important history to ask for children with fever of unknown origin.
- Review basic work up and recognize different diagnoses for children with fever of unknown origin.
- Interpret cardiac imaging.
Practice Change
- Consult cardiology and hematology/oncology when an atrial mass is present.
