    Skin care champions are nurses or other clinicians who are able to assist with pressure injury prevention and staging. Skin care champions expressed lack of knowledge needed to stage and prevent pressure injuries and need ongoing education about skin care and pressure injury prevention.

    This activity provides an opportunity for nurses to review current scholarly literature on a selected topic. Learners review an article and then participate in a group discussion to analyze the article content and determine applicability to practice.
