Margaret Chou, MD
Margaret R. Chou, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist and the obstetrics medical director for the Nemours Advanced Delivery Program, which gives pregnant patients the option to give birth in the same place where their babies can get expert treatment right away. Dr. Chou also serves as division chief of obstetrics. Dr. Chou earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford Health Care in California. Dr. Chou is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an active Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). She speaks English and Mandarin.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Chou serves on numerous professional committees and holds leadership and board positions related to her health expertise and community service. Dr. Chou’s involvement in these organizations gives her the opportunity to advocate for her patients through improvements in systems and laws in the areas of reproductive justice, maternal mortality, health inequities and access to care. Dr. Chou is also passionate about medical student and resident education and is honored to contribute to the education of the next generation of the profession.
