Course Description:
Emergency department advanced practice providers often encounter rapidly evolving clinical scenarios that require up-to-date knowledge and refined decision-making skills. This lecture series aims to address identified gaps in current practice by enhancing clinical acumen, procedural proficiency, and interdisciplinary collaboration in high-acuity settings.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify and address knowledge gaps in the management of emerging or high-risk conditions frequently encountered in the emergency setting.
- Apply current evidence-based guidelines to the assessment and management of high-acuity ED patients to enhance clinical decision-making.
- Demonstrate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to optimize patient outcomes in time-sensitive and complex clinical scenarios.
Target Audience:
This program is intended for all physician associates who work in the NCHDE Emergency Department.
